WATCH LIVE: Sarah Sanders Holds First Press Briefing in Weeks
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders will be holding her first press briefing in weeks this afternoon.
A lot has happened since that October 3rd briefing, but this briefing comes just days after the arrest of a crazed Trump supporter who sent bombs to high-profile Democrats and CNN and the murder of 11 people in a Pittsburgh synagogue by a man who spewed anti-Semitic garbage online.
And with so much discussion about civility and tone these past few days, many in the media have criticized President Donald Trump for not helping to elevate it:
There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame…
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 29, 2018
….of Anger and Outrage and we will then be able to bring all sides together in Peace and Harmony. Fake News Must End!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 29, 2018
The briefing is scheduled for 2 pm ET. You can watch live above, via the White House.
