WATCH LIVE: Secretary Shinseki Testifies Before Congress on VA Scandal

Veterans Affairs Secretary Gen. Eric Shinseki will testify before the House Veterans Affairs Committee Thursday morning, where he will face questions on revelations of abuses at multiple VA hospitals across the country.

“I am personally angered and saddened by any adverse consequence that a veteran might experience while in, or as a result of, our care,” he will state, according to prepared testimony released ahead of time. Shinseki will also withhold some information due to an ongoing investigation by the Inspector General.

The American Legion has called on Shinseki to resign over the scandal.
