WATCH: Massive Rugby Brawls Spill Out-Of-Control

Apparently, Beach Rugby is a thing. Who knew? There are a few modifications to the rules, but the game appears not to be substantially different despite the picturesque setting. Of course with rugby, that means there’s a good chance a fight will break out — which is precisely what happened during two matches on Saturday in Wales.

The video below — posted by the news and event website This is Swansea Wales — includes footage of the two wild throwdowns, both of which required police intervention.

The PA announcer implored the combatants to break it up during the second bout.

“If this continues, boys, we will not have beach rugby next year,” the man said.

That’s still to be determined, according to the BBC. But as for Saturday, both games were abandoned and all four teams were disqualified.
