Watch Out, Nancy Grace: 2 Chainz Might Run for Office

Weeks after debating Nancy Grace on marijuana, rapper 2 Chainz said he’s considering a run for mayor of his hometown of College Park, Ga.

In an interview this week with XXL, 2 Chainz said, “I’m a musician, not a politician,” but then admitted he is considering a run because so many people have come up to him and said it would be a good idea.

“I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park,” he said. “I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.”

2 Chainz also addressed that already-infamous debate with Grace over pot. He shot down the suggestion they would ever do a rematch, saying, “I moved on, man.”
