Watch Rams Player Hilariously Deny the Existence of Dinosaurs on HBO’s Hard Knocks

LA Rams defensive end Will Hayes has been a breakout star on this season of HBO’s Hard Knocks. In an earlier episode, Hayes stated unequivocally that he believes mermaids are real (“We find different species in the water every single day”), and dinosaurs are not. (“I just can’t fathom a T-Rex walking around here.”)

Well, on Tuesday’s episode of Hard Knocks, Hayes was confronted with “evidence” of both. First, the lineman was overjoyed to find that a “mermaid” visited Rams practice.

“Yes!…Ariel came out to see me,” Hayes said.

After a photo-op with the mermaid, the dinosaur denier toured a museum-style exhibit — which did little to erode his skepticism.

“There’s no way this logically makes sense,” Hayes said after seeing various dinosaur artifacts.

“He thinks archaeologists place bones underground like a parent would place Easter eggs,” teammate Chris Long explained in an earlier episode.
