Watch Santorum Painfully React to Totally Batty Question About ‘Communist Dictator’ Obama
Probable GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum appeared this past weekend at the South Carolina National Security Action Summit, an annual event held by Frank Gaffney and the Center for Security Policy. If you know anything about Frank Gaffney, the following should not surprise you.
During a Q&A session with the conference’s attendees, a woman came up to the microphone and introduced herself as a “retired schoolteacher.”
Two minutes and twenty seconds later, she was dragged away while screaming about how the “communist dictator” Obama was trying to destroy the country by trying to nuke Charleston.
Despite the fact that the question was a rather nonsensical string of accusations that Congress was letting a Kenyan sit in the Oval Office, Santorum somehow answered her question: “I’m not a sitting member of the Senate, so I’m not taking blame for any of that stuff,” he said. “But you hit on one point to which I absolutely agree: this is a complete lack of leadership.” And then he went on answering the question, which is either an impressive rebound, or a sign of pandering, depending on how you look at it.
