WATCH: Soldier Re-Enlists for Army While Underwater in Scuba Gear

Sgt. Jason Baringhaus already enlisted in the US Army twice, and enlisted yesterday for a third time — but decided to do it underwater while in full scuba gear. “I didn’t want my third and possibly my last re-enlistment to be the standard, feel-good enlistment,” he told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, before diving underwater and taking his oath before a giant, watery American flag.

Remember: His oath may sound like “GLUGLUGLUGGLUG America GLUG GLUG defend the Constitution GLUG GLUG so help me God,” but it’s still completely legally binding.
