Watch Some Guy Just Randomly Snatch the Trophy at the World Darts Championship

This one seems like a robbery where the thief didn’t put too much thought into the getaway.

During the finals of the World Darts Championship match between Michael van Gerwen vs. Gary Anderson, some guy randomly snatched the championship trophy.

As you can see in the video above, this was some pretty bulky hardware. The thief grabbed it with both hands and hoisted it over his head. He made it about three steps, before being corralled by security.

Van Gerwen, whose turn was interrupted by the trophy grabber, was able to get past the distraction and win the championship 7-3, earning £350,000 for the victory.
