WATCH: Video Of PSY’s Anti-American Military Performance That Got Him In Trouble

On Friday, PSY the mega-star singer of “Gangnam Style” got into some trouble when it was unearthed that nearly a decade ago, he participated in several South Korean protest concerts against the United States military. In one particular instance, he rapped about “slowly and painfully” killing U.S. military members and their families.

Eventually, the musician issued a heartfelt apology, expressing great regret at using such harsh words in reaction to political events that had spurned anti-American vitriol at the time in his native Korea.

One of his protest performances, in reaction to American soldiers getting away with running over two Korean school-girls with a tank, reportedly included him rapping anti-American lyrics and smashing a miniature model of a U.S. tank on the stage.

Partial video of that particular performance has surfaced.
