What Do Democrats and Pansies Have in Common? This Jeopardy! Contestant Thinks She Knows

File this one under: most correct wrong answer on Jeopardy! Just kidding…

“The flower pictured here is called this, also a disparaging term for people on the political left,” host Alex Trebek asked a contestant on Friday’s show.

Now, the obvious answer here is “bleeding heart,” as the picture clearly shows. But the contestant instead went with “pansy.”

“Yep, you found a way to insult liberals in this country,” Trebek joked after she gave the incorrect response.
