Woman Throws Glass at Comedian Over ‘Dick’ Joke About Trump
John Caparulo‘s recent comedy show didn’t go over very well with a member of his audience, seeing as how someone threw a cocktail glass at him after making a joke about President Trump.
Caparulo was taking some time off of Chelsea Handler’s show in order to stand-up routine at The Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, CA. Caparulo joked about the Washington Monument during his set, saying “some people say it looks like a dick. But I think they’re saving that for Trump’s monument.”
After Caparulo’s quip, two women started shouting f-bombs at him and got up to leave while he tried to shake off their heckling. However, things took an abrupt turn when one woman was filmed throwing a glass at Caparulo, which shattered when it hit him.
Caparulo picked up the stool he had on stage as if to retaliate, but he held himself back as the audience cursed out the leaving women. Caparulo said the glass did hurt, though he soon went back to his routine by likening the incident to awkwardly confrontational family reunions.
Of course, thanks to a presidential debate that occurred last year, Trump’s privates aren’t exactly a novelty to political conversation.
