Stephen A. Smith Tells Critics of Amber Rose to ‘Kick Rocks’ Following RNC Speech: ‘She Did a Good Job’
Stephen A. Smith came to Amber Rose’s defense after the model spoke at the Republican National Convention earlier this week.
Last week, it was revealed that Rose — previously known for her profile relationship with Kanye West — had been chosen as one the speakers at the convention. In recent months, she’s been more open in support of Donald Trump and even appeared in a music video with a pro-Trump rapper.
This is the full Amber Rose speech last night that has the internet abuzz in controversy.

While many online have criticized Rose for the sudden change in her public image, Smith said he believed she “did a good job” with her speech.
“I’ve been watching the RNC convention each night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,” Smith said on Wednesday’s episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show, “and I know that Amber Rose took a lot of hits. Y’all kick rocks with that. She did a good job.”
Smith cited the subject matter of her speech as the basis of his praise.
“Amber Rose gave a good speech,” he continued. “She talked about gas prices. She talked about shopping. She talked about stuff that hits home. With her 20-plus million social media followers, don’t think people are ignoring that.”
