‘They Freak Out!’ Rogan and Musk Laugh It Up Over Scott Jennings ‘Just Dunking On’ CNN Colleagues ‘Over and Over!’
Joe Rogan and Elon Musk both praised CNN commentator Scott Jennings as “great” for “dunking” on critics of President Donald Trump on his network.
Musk joined Rogan for Friday’s The Joe Rogan Experience and both gushed over Jennings while discussing the media. Jennings joined CNN in 2017 and the conservative commentator is often at the center of the most heated debates network panels.
Rogan is typically a vocal critic of CNN, but he offered some light praise for the network keeping Scott Jennings around to balance views out, though the podcaster joked this simply meant the network went from “woke” to “mostly woke.”
“It’s crazy that they keep letting him do it because it’s like he’s just dunking on these people over and over and over again and they never score,” Rogan said.
“He’s being logical and reasonable and they’re just lobbing a bunch of non sequiturs that don’t mean anything,” Musk later added.

JOE ROGAN: “Oh my God, he’s great.”
MUSK: “He’s great. Logic and reason.”
ROGAN: “It’s just funny watching him speak logically to these people and they freak out.”
MUSK: “Yes, it’s remarkable.”
ROGAN: “It is, and he’s so calm when he does it. He’s so good. And it’s crazy that they keep letting him do it because it’s like he’s just dunking on these people over and over and over again and they never score. It’s kind of funny.”
MUSK: “Totally.”
ROGAN: “I mean, kudos to them for having a conservative voice who is a reasonable voice. But even then he’s outmanned. It’s like one of him and then a bunch of the screechy, woke people. It’s wild. They’re just like, I still think we should stay mostly woke. That’s essentially what they’re doing. They’re like, our business was being hurt when we were all woke, but let’s stay mostly woke.”
MUSK: “They just backed it up a notch.”
ROGAN: “The problem is when when you back it up a notch and you let someone like Scott Jennings in, you’re fucking up your whole business because all the viral clips are all him saying logical, reasonable things with a calm tone and people screeching about diversity and equity and inclusion and horseshit.”
MUSK: “He’s being logical and reasonable and they’re just lobbing a bunch of non sequiturs that don’t mean anything.”
