C-SPAN Caller Goes On Epic Rant About ‘Morally Bankrupt’ Trump: It’s ‘Blasphemy’ to ‘Add Things’ to the Bible
A C-SPAN caller went on an epic two-minute rant against “morally bankrupt” Donald Trump during Monday morning’s Washington Journal.
Host Mimi Geerges asked callers to address their “top election issue” and Susan, a Democrat from Crooks, South Dakota, didn’t disappoint.
“The hugest issue with our election this year is that we have an absolute criminal that’s able to run for office,” Susan said, continuing:
I’m not clear how this is happening, but he has managed to have our Capitol attacked, which I find to be the most disgusting thing that has happened in this country. You know, there’s real hostages in Gaza and other parts of the world. He’s calling those monsters that went into our Capitol, “hostages?” You know, all he does is promote violence, criminal acts. He’s a rapist, and now he wants to sell a Bible. How can such a violent man, trying to destroy a country, sell a Bible? And add things to it; that’s blasphemy. This whole thing is insane that he is able to be a candidate. The fact that all of these trials, he has managed to manipulate. He’s just taken our system and made a mockery of it, in general, for America.
And our number-one thing we need to fight for, is to not have someone who is morally bankrupt, that has no integrity at all, running our country. It’s just not able to happen. And what happens if it’s not him, and all of these followers that have these violent tendencies, including hog-tying the president of the United States. How is this legal, all of the tings that he’s doing? It’s enough. The threat to our courts, the threats to all of these people? It’s enough. Democracy has to win, Trump has to be jailed for this. He has to. Thank you so much.
And with that, she hung up.
Trump has been under fire recently for fulminating against Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing his criminal hush money trial, as well as Merchan’s daughter. Trump was also strongly criticized for reposting a video showing a graphic design of President Joe Biden tied up and lying in the back of a pickup truck.
