CBS’s John Dickerson: Hillary Clinton Is More ‘Vindictive’ Than Donald Trump

The host of CBS’ Face the Nation John Dickerson said on The Hugh Hewitt Show Friday that he believed that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was more “vindictive” than her GOP rival Donald Trump.

“Who do you think would be more vindictive towards their political enemies, Trump or Clinton?” asked host Hugh Hewitt.

The question clearly caught Dickerson off-guard. “Oooooo. Man, I don’t—I don’t know.”

“I think Clinton,” he said finally. “Trump is very tough on those he does not like, as I know. But he gets over it.”

Dickerson did cut Clinton a little slack immediately afterwards. “Now having said that… I think about some of the people who [are] now supporting Hillary Clinton who supported Obama last time, and where there were really hard feelings, and now she’s working in sync with them. So man, that’s a good tough question.”
