Fox News Anchor Labels Anti-War Protestors Who Put Red Paint Outside White House ‘Terrorists’
Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner described pro-Palestinian protestors as “terrorists” while discussing the actions of some demonstrators on college campuses and in Washington, DC over the weekend.
The demonstrations, which have broken out in cities across the world and on many campuses in the United States, are calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The Palestinian Health Ministry, which is part of the Hamas-run government in Gaza, says that nearly 10,000 people have been killed in the densely-populated enclave since Israel began its bombing campaign in response to the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas.
On Fox News Monday, Faulkner argued that many of the actions and chants embraced by protestors of the war are themselves terrorists. She first singled out those calling for a global “intifada,” which refers to an uprising against Israel.
“I had not heard the call to globalize intifada, which is mass killing. It’s a pogrom. It’s a Holocaust. That’s what these students on some of these campuses are yelling,” Faulkner said. She continued:
And, so, I put together a list, “You might be a terrorist if.” You might be a terrorist if you yell words of terrorists and support terrorists, and mimic spreading blood and threats, like the red handprints. It’s fake blood, but we know what it means. You might be terrorist if you can’t say anti-Israel without calling for their deaths by chanting, “river to the sea.” Because we know what that is; we know what sits between that. And you might be a terrorist if you chant “globalize intifada,” which means mass killing, Holocaust.
I mean, I don’t know how faculty members and administrative people on these campuses can allow that to happen, but now it’s happening outside the gates of the White House. And if you or I put red paint…on the White House, how fast do you think they’d come after me? How fast do you think they’d come after us? “What are you doing? Do you hate America? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.” You don’t think they hate America? How much do they hate us? Listen to what they say.
Earlier in the segment, Fox News contributor Guy Benson said he listened to what one speaker had to say at the DC rally.
“And usually even when I disagree with a group, I will feel sort of like, okay, this is their right, they are expressing their views, that’s true of many of the protesters. However, I was paying attention what was said at this rally. Earlier in the day, one of the speakers — I just want to quote this directly — he said, at the D.C. rally, quote, ‘decolonization ain’t a metaphor. Palestinians have a right to rebel and free their land from the river to the sea by any means necessary.'”
