‘It’s On You!’ Union Worker Goes Viral With Blistering Message to Pro-Labor Trump Voters He Says Will ‘Own’ WH Policies

A union member with a message for pro-labor Donald Trump voters went viral across social media Friday after he called on them to “own” the president-elect’s policies in the coming years if they end up hurting American workers.

The message was initially posted on the @unionproudwarriors TikTik account but was also posted to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter.)

“The dust is starting to settle and this message is all my MAGA and Trump supporters in the labor unions,” the message from group member Sean Allen began. “So we had a difference of opinion. We wanted the Kamala Harris administration. She lost. You guys wanted the Trump administration.”

In the clip, which was shared by the X account CALL TO ACTIVISM and its 1 million followers, Allen continued, “Trump won. So now where are we going moving forward? For one, this is on you. Yes, on all of you that voted for him to make sure that, for one, he does not appoint an anti-union department head to run the Department of Labor.”

Allen added:

And if he does, that’s on you and us to make sure we call him out for that. It’s on you to make sure that he holds his promises to bring back American jobs, to uplift wages, to uplift unions. You all said this guy’s so pro-union, this guy’s so for American workers, well, then you should be for us 100 percent. So we’re going to hold him to that to make sure that he does fight to lift up us the wages. He wants to get rid of Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act. Okay. It’s up to you now to hold him accountable, to give us something in terms of insurance.

There’s millions of Americans, a lot of whom are Republicans who take advantage of those benefits. You better make sure that if he gets rid of them, he replaces it with something better, as he would say. And also these tariffs and all this shit he wants to do, that’s going to just be so amazing for America. If it shuts down factories, if it closes down plants, if it hurts jobs and lays people off. It’s on you now to pay attention and call them out.

The union advocate also extended an olive branch to Trump-voting union members.

“If you guys ever want to message us with some issues, we’ll be here because, at the end of the day, this is about solidarity,” Allen said. “This is about us as working class, not left or right, not Democrat or Republican, but us as American workers in the labor movement.”

He concluded:

And we’re fighting for wages, jobs, insurance, pensions, retirement. And if things don’t go our way, we call on you to fucking stand up and fight back and join us. Don’t be mad at us, but join us because we will never turn our back on you. You may have voted differently, but I’m a proud American and I’m a proud working-class union member. And we will always have your back. And we expect and hope you have our back, too. And let’s fuckin’ push back on this administration when or if they do anti-union anything across the board.

Allen and the Union Proud Warrior social media accounts spent the 2024 election cycle opposed to Trump and supported President Joe Biden before ultimately endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump was able to peel away the support of union members in key battleground states in last week’s election.
