Jewish Democrat’s Office Vandalized With Pro-Palestinian Slogans: ‘Blood On Your Hands’

The New York City district office of Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) was vandalized on Thursday night by two people who defaced the building with pro-Palestinian slogans.

“Blood on ur hands,” “Free Palestine,” and “Let Gaza live” were spray painted on the office’s exterior in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. Goldman, a former MSNBC contributor and Trump impeachment prosecutor represents lower Manhattan and a large portion of Brooklyn.

“Harassing, intimidating, and outright attacking the staff of a Jewish elected official at a time of rising violence and rampant antisemitism is dangerous and unacceptable,” Goldman’s communications director, Simone Kanter, told the Jewish Telegraph Agency in a statement published Friday.

JTA also noted that the NYPD is investigating the incident and “that officers had been responding to graffiti at a couple of other sites in the area when they discovered the vandalism on the congressman’s district office.” The report added:

Security footage showed at least two people defacing the building. However, the perpetrators put a plastic bag over the camera so the images were unclear, Goldman’s office said.

Goldman, who is Jewish, was in Israel on October 7th when Hamas attacked the south of the country and committed a brutal massacre of civilians. He has since been a staunchly pro-Israel voice in the Democratic Party, but has also condemned Israeli settler violence in the West Bank and called on the U.S. to ensure Israel takes additional steps to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza.
