Piers Morgan Calls On Elon Musk To De-Platform Kanye West Over ‘Anti-Semitic’ And ‘Violence-Inducing’ Posts
British broadcaster Piers Morgan called on Elon Musk to de-platform Kanye “Ye” West over his torrents of racist, anti-Semitic, and all-around unhinged rants in recent days on X.
Over the last few days, the famous rapper has shared innumerable bizarre messages to his 32 million followers on the platform. He has referred to himself as a Nazi and praised Adolf Hitler. He also declared himself a racist and said he does not trust his Jewish friends in his many anti-Semitic posts on the social media platform.
West argued in one post that “stereotypes exist for a reason” because they were all “true.” In the since-deleted post, he added, “Some of my best friends are Jewish and I don’t trust any of them.”
In another recent post, West promoted violence against women by tweeting, “BITCHES DESERVE TO GET SLAPPED SOMETIMES.” West had trended off and on throughout the weekend for other posts – including a handful about the Trump family.
West’s posting patterns have seen him fire off screeds for hours only to take them all down. Hours later, he begins sharing again.
Saturday, Morgan reacted to the messages by calling out Musk – who owns X – for not restricting West’s account.
“@elonmusk – how much more disgustingly hateful, racist, anti-Semitic, violence-inducing stuff from Kanye are you going to allow him to spew on your platform to his 32 million followers,” Morgan wrote in response to one of West’s recent posts.

Musk previously restricted West’s account for the spreading of anti-Semitic messages. Back in December 2022, shortly after he purchased Twitter, West posted a series of tweets, including one graphic that superimposed a swastika over a Jewish Star of David.
Musk responded by suspending his account after accusing him of “inciting violence.”
West’s account was restored less than a year later in July 2023 but he had not used the platform frequently until this past week.
