Reporter Asks Karoline Leavitt if Trump is Considering a Pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt skirted right past a question about President Donald Trump potentially pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell.

During Thursday’s briefing, Leavitt faced a barrage of questions involving late financier and child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. The renewed interest in Epstein’s case came after Trump’s Department of Justice determined the widely-discussed “Epstein list” of associates did not actually exist.

In response to the outrage coming from his own base, Trump has repeatedly sought to dismiss the significance of the case and encourage supporters to simply move on. He even went as far as saying the entire ordeal was a hoax created by Democrats — prompting Fox’s Jacqui Heinrich to ask Leavitt which part of the case is actually a hoax.

At one point in the briefing, Independent White House correspondent Andrew Feinberg asked Leavitt about Trump’s bizarre story regarding his uncle and the “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski. After the press secretary scolded him for even asking the question, Feinberg tried to get in another question regarding Maxwell. For her role in Epstein’s trafficking operation, she was convicted in 2021 and later sentenced to 20 years in prison.

“Karoline, one more,” Feinberg said. “Will the president consider Ghislaine Maxwell if the Epstein case is a hoax?”

Leavitt, however, called on someone else and completely ignored Feinberg.
