‘SEE YOU TOMORROW’: Trump Ruefully Laments How ‘Just 4 Years Ago’ He Was President But Now Faces Criminal Court And Legal ‘CHAOS’

The Manhattan criminal trial of former President Donald Trump will get underway Monday as jury selection begins in the case brought by District Attorney Alvin Bragg on charges involving an alleged “hush money” scheme and cover-up.

On Sunday evening, Trump took to his Truth Social platform to offer a preamble to Monday’s events, and began by waxing almost morose as he reflected on where he was four years ago versus where he’ll be in the morning.

Per his ongoing pattern, Trump claimed that President Joe Biden is using the legal system as a weapon against him, saying that the DA and and judge are corrupt and conflicted, respectively, and that Biden’s “henchmen” are “rigging the system.”

“Just four years ago I was a very popular and successful President of the United States, getting more votes than any sitting President in history,” he wrote. “Tomorrow morning I’ll be in Criminal Court, before a totally conflicted Judge, a Corrupt Prosecutor, a Legal System in CHAOS, a State being overrun by violent crime and corruption, and Crooked Joe Biden’s henchmen ‘Rigging the System’ against his Political Opponent, ME!”

Trump naturally argued that it is not just him on trial for allegedly paying off porn star Stormy Daniels to hide an affair and funneling the money through former fixer Michael Cohen, but all of America on trial for it.

“I will be fighting for myself but, much more importantly, I will be fighting for our Country,” he wrote. “Election Interference like this has never happened in the USA before and, hopefully, will never happen again. We are now a Nation in serious Decline, a Failing Nation, but we will soon be a Great Nation Again. November 5th will be the most important day in the History of the United States.”

He concluded with slightly more enthusiasm, going back to all caps to write, “MAGA2024! SEE YOU TOMORROW.”
