‘She Lied About It!’ Trump Attacks E. Jean Carroll In Unhinged Video Clip Ahead of Jury Determining Damages In Defamation Trial

Former President Donald Trump raged at E. Jean Carroll on Thursday night in an unhinged video clip in which he further attacked the woman he has already been found liable for defaming.

Carroll accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in a dressing room in the 1990s, allegations which a jury found to be true and held Trump liable for. Trump was also ordered to pay Carroll $5 million for publicly defaming her, which Carroll has again sued Trump for and won.

Trump is currently on trial to determine additional damages he owes Carroll for the continued defamation, which apparently has not stopped Trump from publicly insulting the former columnist. Trump stormed out of court on Friday as Carroll’s lawyer Roberta Kaplan asked the jury to award Carroll a reported $24 million in compensatory damages for the “storm of hate” Trump unleashed on her.

Roberta Kaplan showed the jury several of the countless threats, including death threats, Carroll has following Trump’s attacks, including one that read “stick a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger and send yourself to HELL.”

“This case is about punishing Donald Trump for what he’s done and what he continues to do,” Roberta Kaplan said Friday. “This trial is about getting him to stop.”

Trump posted a clip to his Trurth Social platform on Thursday night and declared, “I don’t even know who this woman is. I have no idea who she is, where she came from. This is another scam. It’s a political witch hunt.”

“And somehow we’re going to have to fight this stuff,” Trump added, seeming to suggest he would use the powers of the presidency to squash a personal civil suit.

“We cannot let our country go into this abyss. This is disgraceful. You have somebody running for office. You have a woman that’s financed and lied about it. She totally lied about it by Democrat operatives. Like, just about the biggest one there is. And she said that wasn’t true. They found that she lied about it, and the judge wasn’t even, I guess, letting it be put in as evidence. The whole thing is a scam, and it’s a shame and it’s a disgrace to our country,” Trump added, appearing noticeably flustered.

Trump appeared to be referring to conservative lawyer George Conway, the ex-husband of his former advisor Kellyanne Conway, suggesting to Carroll that she sue Trump over his public insults.

Conway reacted to Trump posting about his past interactions with Carroll, writing, “It’s cold and lonely living in this man’s head. But it’s so damn cheap.”
