President Donald Trump took a break from threatening Iran on Tuesday to announce the erection of “two beautiful Flag Poles” at the White House.

“It is my Great Honor to announce that I will be putting up two beautiful Flag Poles on both sides of the White House, North and South Lawns,” wrote Trump in a Truth Social post:

It is a GIFT from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place. The digging and placement of the poles will begin at 7:30 A.M. EST, tomorrow morning. Flags will be raised at approximately 11 A.M. EST. These are the most magnificent poles made – They are tall, tapered, rust proof, rope inside the pole, and of the highest quality. Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!

Trump spent much of the rest of Tuesday threatening Iran on the social network and demanding “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” as Israel continues to bomb the country.

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” wrote Trump in one post threatening Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. “But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

In other posts over the past few days, Trump boasted about having “complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” declared, “IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” and warned, “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”

The president also lashed out at “kooky” former ally Tucker Carlson and “publicity seeking” French President Emmanuel Macron, and shared a text message he received from U.S. ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee telling him that God “spared” him so he could become “the most consequential President in a century–maybe ever.”

The New York Times reported on Tuesday that Trump was “seriously considering” dropping bombs on Iran, despite overwhelming American opposition to such a move and allies warning him that further U.S. involvement in the conflict could destroy the MAGA movement.
