Trump Threatens Dem Senator Who Helped Force Ronny Jackson’s Withdrawal: ‘I Know Things’ About Jon Tester

During a rally in Michigan on Saturday night, President Donald Trump once again took aim at Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT).

Speaking to the typically loud and staunchly supportive rally crowd, Trump unloaded on the Democratic senator who helped force Dr. Ronny Jackson to withdraw from consideration after being nominated by Trump to lead the Department of Veterans’ Affair.

“Tester started throwing out things that he’s heard [about Jackson],” Trump said.

Then, he threatened: “Well I know things about Tester that I could say too. And if I said them, he’d never be elected again.”

Trump did not specify what this dirt on Tester may be.

However, it is clear that Trump is not at all pleased with the senator bringing forth the allegations that ultimately tanked Jackson’s nomination.

In a pair of tweets on Saturday morning, Trump went as far to claim Tester should resign.

“Allegations made by Senator Jon Tester against Admiral/Doctor Ron Jackson are proving false. The Secret Service is unable to confirm (in fact they deny) any of the phony Democrat charges which have absolutely devastated the wonderful Jackson family,” Trump wrote.

He concluded: “Tester should resign. great people of Montana will not stand for this kind of slander when talking of a great human being. Admiral Jackson is the kind of man that those in Montana would most respect and admire, and now, for no reason whatsoever, his reputation has been shattered. Not fair, Tester!”
