‘Your Threats Mean Nothing’: Mark Levin Lashes Out at Ex-Fox Colleague Tucker Carlson, Who’s ‘Undermining’ Trump
Fox News host Mark Levin slammed Tucker Carlson on Friday amid their ongoing feud.
Last week, Carlson alleged that Levin was “lobbying for war with Iran” during a visit to the White House. Levin responded by calling his former colleague “a loathsome ass.” On Wednesday, Politico reported that Levin told President Donald Trump that Iran was just days away from building a nuclear weapon and said the president should allow Israel to bomb the country. In response, Levin accused Carlson of “planting stories with his media pals.”
Trump’s envoy to the Middle East was scheduled to meet with Iranian officials for talks in Oman on Sunday. Predictably, Iran withdrew from negotiations after it was bombed by Israel on Thursday. Iran responded with a wave of missile attacks on Tel Aviv, many of which were intercepted with U.S. assistance. Carlson responded on X by once again calling out Levin, and also Sean Hannity and Rupert Murdoch.
The real divide isn’t between people who support Israel and people who support Iran or the Palestinians. The real divide is between those who casually encourage violence, and those who seek to prevent it — between warmongers and peacemakers. Who are the warmongers? They would include anyone who’s calling Donald Trump today to demand air strikes and other direct US military involvement in a war with Iran. On that list: Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Rupert Murdoch, Ike Perlmutter and Miriam Adelson. At some point they will all have to answer for this, but you should know their names now.
Levin quote-tweeted the post and replied that Carlson is promoting anti-semitism” and is “undermining” Trump:
Hey thug. I never said to the President that American forces should bomb Iran. The leaker who is feeding you is a liar. As are you. So why do you keep lying and smearing people? Now, Sean and others. You’re a reckless and deceitful propagandist, and that’s the best I can say. You promote antisemitism and conspiracy nuts. You slobber all over some of the most evil people on earth.
It doesn’t occur to you that your supposed sources are disloyal to POTUS. You and they are undermining him and you just declared your break from the President. You don’t give a damn about our armed forces. Instead, you give aide and comfort to our enemies with your act.
We won’t forget. You’re a paper tiger. Your threats mean nothing.
Shortly after Israel’s initial strikes on Iran, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to bomb the country before diplomatic talks had run their course. That call went unheeded.
