‘Drop The Mic!’ Fox News Hosts Gush Over Trump Speech, Hail Him For ‘Never Playing The Victim’

Fox News hosts were downright giddy when discussing former President Donald Trump’s televised speech from Mar-a-Lago Monday about the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in his favor.

The Court ruled unanimously earlier in the day that Colorado must include Trump on its 2024 presidential ballot.

Outnumbered co-host Harris Faulkner was particularly impressed when Trump directly addressed President Joe Biden, saying, “Fight your fight yourself. Don’t use prosecutors and judges to go after your opponent.”

Trump was referring to the federal cases brought against him by the Department of Justice Special Counsel Jack Smith.

“What he said was, ‘Take me on yourself. Don’t use those upper echelons of justice, like the DOJ and all that.’ And, I mean, it was like — I looked at Emily, and she was like, ‘Preach,'” Faulkner said.

“Drop the mic!” Fox News guest Kym Douglas added.

Emily Compagno then told an anecdote about God.

You know what it reminded me of — just permit me to say this — is that joke between the scientist and God, where they each say, the scientist says, “I can make my own man.” All right, well, start with dirt here. And then God says, “Hold on, find your own dirt.” And I found, like, that’s what Trump was saying: My policies are the reason why this country worked. My policies are the reasons why people were safer at the southern border. So, you want to get somewhere? Use my policies. It’s Ok, right?

And I thought, what’s interesting about him today — I wrote down “measured.” He was measured, he was authoritative, and he was firm. And he, unlike “46,” said, “I have great respect for the Supreme Court justices.” He said, “This is a big step toward unification,” and it was refreshing to hear a president that spoke highly and in great reverence, and rightly so, for the Supreme Court decision.

“So good,” Douglas added. “What I love about him, he never plays the victim. He was like, ‘Keep weaponizing me. I just keep winning.’ Never plays the victim. I thought he was super presidential today.”
