A superior court judge in Georgia has set a hearing for Feb 15 to examine accusations that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) had an improper relationship with her lead prosecutor that helped her benefit financially. The hearing will reportedly be televised.

The Washington Post first reported that in his order, Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee required Willis to respond to the allegations in writing by Feb. 2.

“The accusations first came to light in a filing from one of Trump’s co-defendants, former campaign aide Mike Roman,The Post reported. “In his filing, Roman called for Willis and the lead prosecutor, Nathan Wade, to be removed from the case, and also for the charges to be dismissed.”

Willis charged Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants, including Roman, with trying to subvert the 2020 election results in Georgia. Trump has also demanded that Willis be removed from the case.

Roman’s filing argued that the criminal charges against the co-defendants were unconstitutional.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Roman’s filing offered “no concrete proof of the romantic ties between Willis and Wade, but says ‘sources close to both the special prosecutor and the district attorney have confirmed they had an ongoing, personal relationship.'”

During a speech at Big Bethel AME Church on Sunday, Willis denounced the allegations against her. She also accused her critics of “playing the race card.”

This is a developing story and has been updated.
