Trump FLIPS OUT Over CNN Report that Joe Biden Will Face No Charges in Documents Case
Social anthropology experts who closely study the social media musings of former President Donald Trump will delight in the news that he appears to be returning to a level of frequency and outrage to which America has grown accustomed.
To wit: the day after a federal judge lifted a gag order, Trump took to his Truth Social account to spit the sort of ALL CAPS venom his adoring fans — and news editors — have long come to appreciate. What is it that got Trump back to spewing bile? A CNN report claims that Special Counsel Robert Hur will not seek charges regarding the classified documents surrounding President Joe Biden.
Like the predictability of using the swallows’ return to Capistrano metaphor, Trump first posted early Friday morning his thoughts:
WOW! FAKE NEWS CNN, THROUGH A LEAK FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE, HAS JUST REPORTED THAT NO CHARGES WILL BE FILED IN THE (MUCH BIGGER THAN MINE!!!) CROOKED JOE BIDEN DOCUMENTS CASE. WE ARE LIVING IN A VERY CORRUPT COUNTRY!
But he was not done. Roughly 30 minutes later, he let out a fierce “SELECTIVE PROSECUTION!!!” and just two minutes after, a fierce “PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!” Again, while the words are familiar, the posting strategy is unique behavior for the silverest-backed gorilla of the MAGA jungle.
