CNN’s Jim Acosta Shouts at Kim Jong Un: ‘Will You Give Up Your Nuclear Weapons?’

North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump strolled along an open breezeway during their highly anticipated meeting in Singapore Monday night. The pair stopped at a balcony to address a crowd below. One voice pierced the silent serenity of diplomacy.

It was CNN’s intrepid White House reporter Jim Acosta, bellowing questions at Trump and Kim.

“Mr. President, how is the meeting going so far, sir?” Acosta asked. “Any progress, Mr. President?”

“Chairman Kim, will you denuclearize?” he continued. Silence.

“Mr. President, how’s it going so far, sir?” Acosta persevered, and Trump finally bit.

“Very, very good,” Trump said. “Excellent relationship. Thank you. Thank you very much.”

“Mr. Kim will you give up your nuclear weapons sir?” Acosta lobbed as his last ditch bid to get something newsworthy. Silence from Kim.
