On Thursday night, Stephen Colbert slammed Roy Moore over recent allegations of molestation.
After hitting the GOP candidate for his remarks on 9/11 and homosexuality, he brought up the accusation that he initiated a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl when he was 32.
“For those keeping track, that is an age difference of- it doesn’t matter! She was 14!” Colbert reacted.
The Late Show host went on to explain how three other women accused Moore of pursuing them when they were in their late teens.
“My God!” Colbert reacted. “These accusations are so damning, voters are either gonna force him off the ballot or make him president!”
He went after Alabama State Auditor Jim Zeigler for defending Moore by comparing him and his young accuser to Joseph and Mary.
“Joseph didn’t touch her!” Colbert exclaimed. “Their whole deal was that there was no funny business! She was the Virgin Mary!”
Colbert also addressed viewers who were tuning into the show to watch his interview with Louis C.K., which was cancelled in the wake of allegations of sexual misconduct.
“I have some bad news… then I have some really bad news,” he said.
