Fox Hosts React To New Poll Showing Pennsylvania Is a Tight Race For Trump and Biden: ‘It’s Essentially Tied’

The hosts of Fox and Friends discussed a new poll on Thursday morning showing a tight race between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in the key state of Pennsylvania noting it is “essentially tied.”

A new poll released by Quinnipiac University found Biden and Trump were nearly tied in the president’s home state of Pennsylvania. The Republican frontrunner leads among registered voters with 47% support against 45% for Biden.

Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt, and Steve Doocy read the news to viewers on Monday morning noting the race is a must-win for Trump in order to secure the White House in 2024.

Moreover, one of the key findings in the new poll shows that Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) is outperforming Biden in his Senate race against Republican challenger David McCormick.

“Right now, it’s within the margin of error. So they’re essentially tied,” Doocy noted. “What’s interesting about this and if you look at the other things they polled people on, Bob Casey… is leading Dave McCormick by six points. Casey is actually outperforming Joe Biden. And it’s the support of the independents who are helping Mr. Casey. Just goes to show you that it is essentially tied at the top of the ticket when it comes to the president.”

Meanwhile, registered Republican voters in the state primary are backing Trump by a dominating lead over former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in second, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has fallen to third place in the race.

The findings in the general election poll are consistent with other recent surveys that show a tight race within the margin of error.

However, a Susquehanna poll showed that Biden dominates the former president overwhelmingly among Black and Latino voters by nearly 80% support from both demographics in a head-to-head matchup.
