Fox News anchor Bret Baier replied to viewers’ comments on Wednesday after a long night of helming the network’s Super Tuesday coverage.

Baier takes to X from time to time to address users’ comments, most often criticisms, of his time on air.

One user wrote of Baier’s Tuesday night coverage, “Bret Baier biting his lip as Laura Ingraham said that Trump is making the biggest political comeback of all time and that she and the people on the panel maybe need to spend more time listening to the people.”

Baier replied to the comment, “What does this show? I said the same thing later with Trace- I needed to get the chicken out of my teeth I ate during the commercial break – but thanks for watching — closely.”

Baier later followed up by sharing a clip of him telling Fox’s Trace Gallagher, “We’re witnessing a remarkable political comeback” — refering to Trump’s domination of the Super Tuesday primaries.

“Here is the shot with Trace. Without the chicken,” jested the anchor.

Another X user wrote, “Baier is a Trumper. He always will be.”

“Or a complete obvious Never Trumper — or maybe just a news anchor,” Baier replied, noting that he is often accused of being anti-Trump.

In the past, Baier has replied to viewers who have accused him of all kinds of things, ranging from wearing a “rug” to being “nasty” to Trump — usually ending his reply by thanking the viewer for watching.
