FX’s Atlanta Makes Cartoon Cereal Commercial With a Disturbing Twist

The hilarious new FX series Atlanta aired a very breaking-from-form episode last night that dealt with political correctness, transphobia, and whether being “transracial” is a thing. The episode played out like an episode of a real interview show in which in-show character Paper Boi appeared as a guest.

And there were even fake commercials to go along with the show, including a series of Dodge Charger ads and a Trix parody commercial.

The “Coconut Crunchos Cereal” ad plays out like one of those Trix ads, with the kids informing the cartoon animal that the cereal is only meant for children.

But then a police officer shows up and things take a very dark turn.

At one point the wolf proclaims to the cop, “N***a, I could be eating these kids, but I’m out here eating cereal!”
