George Conway Appears to Take Shots at Wife Kellyanne’s CNN Hit: Trump ‘Lies About Virtually Everything’ (UPDATES)
George Conway, husband of White House aide Kellyanne, is known to disagree with the president for whom she happens to work. On Thursday night, he turned things up a notch on his already very vocal Twitter account, taking shots at Donald Trump immediately after the conclusion of Kellyanne’s insane, marathon CNN interview.
“Given that Trump has repeatedly lied about the Daniels and McDougal payments—and given that he lies about virtually everything else, to the point that his own former personal lawyer described him as a “f****ing liar”—why should we take his word over that of federal prosecutors?” Conway asked.

His tweet came ten minutes after the conclusion of Chris Cuomo‘s CNN show, on which Kellyanne was a guest. During her nearly 40-minute sparring match with Cuomo, Kellyanne repeatedly denied that Trump had lied about his knowledge of the hush money payments to women claiming they had affairs with him. While Trump initially denied all knowledge of the six-figure payments, prosecutors have revealed he ordered his former lawyer Michael Cohen to make them.
Conway’s tweet naturally raised speculation as to just what sparked his fury:

UPDATE: George Conway is still going. He has pinned the tweet to the top of his profile, and has continued to tweet about Trump’s legal woes:
