Here’s How Fox & Friends is Covering Report on Ivanka Using Private Email For Govt. Business

If we learned one thing from Fox News’ coverage of the 2016 presidential campaign it’s that the use of a private email server for government business should disqualify one from a leadership role in the government.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton earned chants of “lock her up” at nearly every Trump rally and the Republican National Convention, but more importantly, hours upon hours of bloodthirsty coverage on Fox News right-of-center programming.

So now that the Washington Post is reporting that Ivanka Trump (who is not just daughter to President Donald Trump but also a Senior White House Advisor) was using a private email server for government business, we will likely see the same sort of coverage, Right?

To Fox & Friends credit, they addressed this seemingly hypocritical story that paints the White House (and Ivanka) in a most unflattering light. Though their coverage was left to news presenter Jillian Mele, who delivered roughly 25 seconds of coverage, that was pegged to Ivanka’s lawyer’s reaction Mele read:

Ivanka Trump’s lawyer is slamming a report she used her private email for government business. “The Washington Post” claims the White House advisor may have violated federal rules by using her personal account to communicate with officials. A spokesperson for trump’s lawyer tells Fox News, quote: There was never classified information transmitted. The account was never transferred or housed at trump organization. No emails were ever deleted.

I mean, this seems pretty light in comparison to the Fox News outrage over Hillary’s private email, but I’m sure that they will start to spew similar amounts of bile that they spewed over the Clinton email, right?

If they didn’t, they’d look ridiculous, right?
