Howard Dean: Hillary Email Scandal Manufactured by GOP and ‘Bored’ Press

Howard Dean went to bat for Hillary Clinton on Meet the Press today, praising her handling of her email scandal and dismissing it as a pure invention.

Questions have continued to swirl about classified emails on Clinton’s private server and whether she lied about possessing classified emails, but Dean told Chuck Todd that Clinton’s answers have been “steady” and not evolving.

He said, “This is, in fact, manufactured partly by a press that’s bored and partly by the Republicans.”

Peter Hart, meanwhile, called Clinton a “marvelous candidate” but a “terrible frontrunner.”
