No One Farted Right Before This News Blooper
In this case, no one either denied it or supplied it, and nothing was either smelt or dealt. News anchor Jacqueline Felgate of Seven News Melbourne was caught by surprise by live studio cameras as she was clearing the air and coughing when a live news update began, in what appeared to be the immediate aftermath of a left-cheek sneak. Felgate’s startled look, as she realized cameras were rolling, quickly gave way to a completely unfazed reading of the day’s headlines:
As it turns out, the waving and coughing were not the result of an ill-timed crop-dusting by a member of the production staff, or any other sort of fumes, but by a missed cue and a “fly plague in studio.”
