During his Tennessee rally tonight, President Donald Trump defended Brett Kavanaugh again and said the Democrats are trying to “destroy” him.
After saying the Democratic party has been taken over by the resistance, he said, “We have to be very careful. They’ll take everything, including your Second Amendment… Democrats believe they’re entitled to power and they have been blind in a blind rage ever since they lost the 2016. They have gone loco.”
And then he brought up Kavanaugh:
“Democrats are willing to do anything and hurt anyone to get their way, like they are doing with Judge Kavanaugh. They’ve been trying to destroy him since the first second he was announced, because they know that Judge Kavanaugh will follow the Constitution as written. And he’s a good man. Great student, great intellect, never had a problem. All of a sudden, oh, let’s go back to high school. Maybe they should go before high school.”
He ran down a list of some Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, from Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) to Cory Booker (D-NJ) to Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).
He said of Feinstein, “She had this letter for months and she didn’t reveal it until everything was finished. Then she revealed it, then she says, oh, we want more time. Let’s see how it all works out, but I’ll tell you what, they’re trying to destroy a very fine person, and we can’t let it happen.”
