Trump Leaves Bulletproof Enclosure to Hug Rallygoer Who Collapsed After Medical Event

Former President Donald Trump left his bulletproof enclosure at a North Carolina rally to hug a supporter who collapsed after a medical event.

Trump spoke for the first time at an outdoor rally event since the assassination attempt against him in Pennsylvania last month. As the GOP nominee was speaking, noise could be heard in the audience background before Trump paused his remarks.

Audience members could be heard screaming for medical services while Trump calls for doctors to investigate the event.

“A doctor, please,” Trump said. “It is very hot here, I noticed. It’s very hot. A lot of the people waited for days to get here, so I understand it. Take your time, doctor, take your time, thank you.”

Trump continued observing the scene from the stage before wandering over to greet the woman who had appeared to collapse. Secret Service immediately surrounded the former president as he leave his bulletproof enclosure to hug her.

“You know, they come two days, three days early, and it’s a lot. It’s a lot of stress,” Trump said as he returns back to the stage. The woman could be seen standing in the background holding a water bottle.
