Two Dead, Four Injured After Marysville Pilchuck School Shooting
There are initial reports coming in of a possible school shooting in the Seattle, Washington area. We will continue to update this post with the latest information as it becomes available.
The Marysville Pilchuck High School, just north of Seattle, is currently in lock down following the incident.
According to multiple law enforcement officials, the shooter is now dead from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, The Seattle Times is reporting. There are additional reports of as many as seven students injured.

UPDATE — 3:05 p.m. ET: Reporting live on Fox News, Shepard Smith relayed information from police sources that there are three people are dead on the scene, one of whom is possibly the shooter. During an official press conference, authorities would only confirm the death of the shooter.

UPDATE — 4:00 p.m. ET: Marysville Pilchuck High School freshman Jordan Luton gave an eyewitness account of the shooting to Fox’s Shepard Smith as well as some insight into the background of the shooter.

UPDATE — 5:14 p.m. ET: The shooter has been identified by students as Jaylen Fryberg.
UPDATE –– 6:04 p.m. ET: Authorities are now reporting two dead, four wounded in the shooting.
UPDATE –– 6:44 p.m. ET: Marysville Mayor Jon Nehring spoke earlier on the shooting, saying, “There are really no words to describe this type of tragedy.” Watch the video below, via KIRO:
