Originally, the bizarre segment occurred during a special evening version of ITV’s Good Morning Britain in 2018 when Dyer, a familiar face from EastEnders, joined hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, alongside then Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, and Pamela Anderson on a panel. He launched a now infamously scathing critique of the Brexit negotiations in front of millions of viewers.

“Who knows about Brexit? No one has got a fucking clue what Brexit is,” Dyer said.

The actor’s impassioned speech on Brexit has turned him into an unexpected hero for Remain supporters at the time. His rant reached its peak when he focused on Cameron, who was responsible for initiating the Brexit referendum, which he subsequently lost, triggering his resignation.
