WATCH: GB News Urges Viewers To ‘Vote Remain’ For Host Nigel Farage

GB News is rallying behind contestant Nigel Farage to save him from elimination on ITV’s reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here so that he might be crowned winner and King of the Jungle.

The network is running a campaign online and on screen, running a dedicated advert between shows that features Farage asking viewers to “vote remain.”

The pun, obviously, being that Farage is most famous for his role pushing Vote Leave, advocating the departure of the UK from the European Union as former leader of UKIP and the Brexit Party.

During the course of his time on the show, the right-wing politician has clashed several times with other contestants on issues like immigration and cultural appropriation.

Reportedly offered a fee of £1.5 million to be a contestant, the GB News host’s appearance has coincided with a decline of approximately 2 million viewers compared to the 2022 series. The drop in ratings follows a campaign by activists protesting his views to have Farage dropped from the contestant line-up.

As the show has progressed even Farage’s political rivals, including Labour MPs Nadia Whittome and Kim Johnson, have called on viewers to vote him out.
