Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson Are Playing a $9 Million Match and Golf Fans Are Livid It’s on Pay Per View

 

It’s all set. The two greatest golfers of their generation, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, will square off in a winner-take-all $9 million golf match in Las Vegas on Nov. 23.

Made-for-TV exhibition golf matches have long been a staple, and this one would figure to stir up some excitement among golf fans. But instead, it’s been met with a backlash — as the 18-hole showdown between the two legends will be televised on pay per view.
