Jeb Bush Drops Out of the Presidential Race

Screen Shot 2016-02-20 at 8.41.36 PMJeb Bush announced after his fourth-place finish in South Carolina tonight that he’s dropping out of the race tonight.

Bush was hoping for a stronger showing, bringing out his mother and brother, former President George W. Bush, to campaign for him, but he still fell far behind the shadow of Donald Trump.

Bush said in his announcement tonight that the American people must vote for a candidate who understands they are a servant of the people, “not the master.”

He didn’t mention Trump by name, but he did make references to how ideas and policy matters, as well as “strong conservative leadership.”
