Trump Tower Evacuated Over Suspicious Package
It is being reported that the NYPD and FDNY had evacuated Trump Tower over a suspicious package.

The official spokesman for the NYPD stated that the department was responding out of an “abundance of caution.”

Donald then added that an all clear had been issued.

Per police, the package is question was a bag of children’s toys.

A short video was posted to Twitter showing those in the building rushing out as police and security told them to leave.

President-elect Donald Trump is currently in Florida for the holidays and was not present at the tower during the evacuation.
UPDATE 5:55 PM ET: Sean Spicer, who was just tapped as Trump’s White House Press Secretary, said he was back at work at the tower after the false alarm.
