College Graduate’s Anti-Obamacare Message Goes Viral: ‘This Law Has Raped My Future’

Remember Chad Henderson? He quickly became the face of Obamacare after he enrolled in the health care program. And now, we may have found his polar opposite. 26-year-old college graduate Ashley Dionne posted an anti-Obamacare message on her Tumblr and the Facebook pages of conservative radio hosts like Dennis Prager, and it has gone viral overnight.

Young people signing up is a crucial part of the health care program, but Dionne made it clear she wants no part of it, and if a lot more like her find similar frustrations, it may not pan out so well.

Dionne talks about her background in the message, says she is barely getting by with her current job, and reveals exactly how the health care law would affect her.

I have asthma, ulcers, and mild cerebral palsy. Obamacare takes my monthly rate from $75 a month for full coverage on my “Young Adult Plan,” to $319 a month. After $6,000 in deductibles, of course.

The Christian Science Monitor reported this week that a number of people signing up have discovered that they are facing “dramatically higher rates” for insurance. Dionne ended her letter with a pretty provocative assessment.

Liberals claimed this law would help the poor. I am the poor, the working poor, and I can’t afford to support myself, let alone older generations and people not willing to work at all.

This law has raped my future.

It will keep me and kids my age from having a future at all.

This is the real face of Obamacare and it isn’t pretty.

Dionne followed up by telling the site Campus Reform that she wanted to get her message out and let other people know the health care law will “hurt more people than it will help.”
