‘Doesn’t Have a Clue’: Stelter and Hannity Spar Over CNN’s ‘Bias,’ ‘Collusion’ with Clinton Campaign
The feud between Sean Hannity and Brian Stelter has been revived, and it’s currently spilling out all over Twitter.
The Fox pundit and the CNN media correspondent have been fighting with each other on and off for months over how the press has covered President-Elect Donald Trump and the 2016 election in general. Hannity gave the scuffle new life last night when he called Stelter an “FNC stalker” who wouldn’t consider how his network had a “collusion” with Hillary Clinton.
Late in the night, Hannity said “amen” to a Twitter user who suggested that Trump should take White House press credentials away from CNN, New York Times, and Washington Post when he takes office. Stelter took notice of that, and he didn’t approve of it:
Tonight @SeanHannity, who's not a journalist, agreed that "CNN, NYT, WaPo" and others "should not receive WH press credentials." https://t.co/QNygGAQtlY

When Hannity saw Stelter’s response, he began a stream of fiery responses throughout the morning:
Well did @CNN collude with @HillaryClinton and her campaign? Let's have a Twitter vote. Was CNN on team Clinton this election year? https://t.co/HZ2fgflDet

Not at all. If they choose a side just be honest about it. You know where I stand. I am totally upfront with my audience. https://t.co/Wwk1R24zp3

Again @brianstelter doesn't have a clue. @realDonaldTrump always believed he could win. He also always knew it was difficult. More CNN Bias! https://t.co/Wic6Y6fAdU

Ok let's "soul search". Why did @CNN provide HRC with questions before debates? Why did @CNN ask the DNC for questions for @realDonaldTrump https://t.co/Qm9iY937Yc

On the subject of revoking press credentials, Stelter eventually asked Hannity how exactly he misinterpreted his words:
@seanhannity Sean, you said "Amen." What did you mean by "Amen," if not, "I agree?"

As for Hannity, he responded like this:
When you answer my question I will consider answering this question. Was @CNN biased for@HillaryClinton in this election? https://t.co/4xqHa2ijPq
