Drunk UConn Student Wants Mac and Cheese, Gets Arrested Instead
If you ever suspect that the basic formula for a viral video included adding alcohol and college students together, then I’d give you an A+ on your Internet Virality 101 exam. Then again, I’m not a college professor, and this isn’t a test. That’s a good thing, since the University of Connecticut student depicted in the YouTube video discovered on Monday night by Barstool Sports would immediately flunk.
According to Barstool’s source, the belligerent drunk demanding some “fucking bacon jalapeño mac and cheese” is Luke Gatti, a 19-year-old UConn student who was also arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct two weeks ago. Both times, Gatti became combative with both onlookers and police officers.
In the video, Gatti is eventually taken down by the manager he assaults and one of the kitchen staff. When a police officer arrives to arrest him and read him the Miranda warning, the promising student says, “Yeah I know.” When the officer finally gets Gatti back onto his feat, he turns to the manager and spits in his face.
The future of America, everyone. Maybe he and Tara Monroe, otherwise known as the Texas State University Barbie Jeep Girl, should join forces and campaign for something.
