Too Sexy For The Pope? French First Lady Carla Bruni Banned From Vatican

It’s being reported that French First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was not allowed to join her husband, French President Nicholas Sarkozy, on his trip to visit Pope Benedict XVI. Shortly before Mr. Sarkozy’s departure, a French ambassador received a note from the Vatican that icily read, “Carla Sarkozy is not welcome in the Vatican.”

Most speculate that Bruni’s modeling and acting career was a cause of concern to the Church. According to Time,

The message, which led her to stay in Paris, is said to be over the Pope’s fears that more racy photographs of her days as a catwalk model would emerge. Nude and semi-naked pictures from her days as a model are regularly published in the media. In one, she’s seen posing in just a pair of knee high boots and a diamond ring.

Mr. Sarkozy’s visit to the Vatican stem from his low ratings amongst French Catholics. It seems that Roman Catholics aren’t rating Mrs. Sarkozy highly either.

Now she’ll have to dress like a 10 year old boy when she visits and risk being gangbanged for weeks on end by cardinals and priests.

    So…….

What happened to all that forgiveness that is expressed in Christianity? And I’m asking as a Christian.

What happened to all that keeping of the 10 Commandments and living a holy life that is expressed in Christianity? Most Christians cant name them, must lest do they try and live them. I ask that as a Christian.

You’re missing the point, Angel. Forgiveness of others and not judging others is a tenant of Christianity, one that is too often forgotten by Christians.

Wanna be gay? Be gay. That’s between you and God. it ain’t my place to judge you and, frankly, as long as you’re a good person ( not stealing, lying, murder etc.) then I’ll defend you and your right to choose.

Wanna be like her? be like her. It’s between you and God. NOBODY should judge – not even the Vatican. This type of thing is what gives Christianity a bad name. But then – what do I know?

And you are missing my point, Harry. Forgiveness and not judging others is not the only tenant of Christianity. Other tenants that are just as valid as forgiveness are also forgotten by Christians if not completely ignored. Most people I know who self-describe themselves as Christians haven’t even read the Bible. How can that be?

They must be fearful of becoming straight and losing the desire for little boys.

Only one whore allowed in the Vatican at a time, and it’s the whore of babylon baby.

    Dear Mr. Pope,

Your holiness. Are you becoming senile?

A reminder: Jesus loved the whore.

Of course they don’t want her there; they want to bang her husband and have him all to themselves; she’d cramp their style big-time….

I think that was a poor decision on the Pope’s part, he is leaving himself wide open for criticism, especially since all the scandals involving priests and young boys.are still in the public’s minds. ..The Catholics have had to live down this nightmare, especially, as children, we were taught to believe in “Priests”, Betrayal is one thing we were not taught to believe in. Don’t be hypocritical, what is good for one should be good for all. I’m disappointed that such an important man as Sarkozy would not be allowed to have his wife attend that important function. These are different times & the Pope, of all people, should learn to be tolerant!
