Happy December! We Welcome The Holidays By Giving Back With The Juggalos

It’s December everybody! That means it’s time to celebrate all sorts of holidays, from the big ones to the smaller, more obscure ones that we still totally respect by making sure to include at least one related song in our children’s holiday concerts! It’s also the time to give back to the less fortunate. Everyone knows that, even the Juggalos as they’ve proven in this terrific new video advertising their toy drive, b**ches!

The uninitiated amongst you are probably asking “What is a Juggalo?” “Why did you just swear at me?” or “Is this really the kind of post that gets this site two million unique visitors?” Well, let me explain. The Juggalos are fans of the band Insane Clown Posse and the entire Psychopathic Records family. They’re the kind of people who listen to rap but also listen to rock and also used to park their pickup trucks diagonally across multiple spots in my high school’s parking lot to show them off. They’ve also become Internet sensations over the past year, thanks to the music video for the slightly less than hardcore song “Miracles” and, most importantly, the epic, 14 minute commercial for their annual music festival The Gathering of the Juggalos. That commercial was passed all around YouTube and was hilariously parodied on SNL (a parody which the band themselves loved). The Juggalos also threw bottles at Tila Tequila so that’s kind of funny.

Anyway, the Juggalos have kind of become a go-to pop culture punch line recently but, really, they’re kind of awesome. And they and this video really demonstrates, despite all the very NSFW language, the true meaning of the holidays. What’s Christmas about if it’s not spending time with the people you love (whether or not they wear ridiculous make up and chug a soft drink called Faygo) and trying to help those who are wanting. So watch Sugar Slam bring in the holidays and announce the Psychopathic Records toy drive.

And God bless us, everyone.
